ELDERS
PASTOR John Roberts
John and his wife Diane came to MHBC in 2014 after being a Pastor in Dallas, Texas, Bexhill-on-Sea in East Sussex and High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire. John was born and grew up in Suffolk. Before he was called of God to train as a Pastor he lived not far from Muswell Hill in Finchley while working for NatWest Bank in Central London. Diane comes from Liverpool and they met at the Bible Training Institute in Glasgow. John trained for Baptist ministry at Spurgeon's College in South London.
Among the ways John has served beyond the local church are as a School Governor, a founding trustee of Canal Ministries and as Chaplain to Wycombe Wanderers Football Club. If he's not working at or for the Church John is probably swimming, cycling, watching football, playing the piano or organ or just out enjoying London.
Rosemary Pettman
Rosemary is our Pastoral Elder. She helps us in very many other ways too, including with our administration, missionary support and hospitality.
DEACONS

We have three deacons who serve us in many ways. Together with the Elders they are the Managing Trustees of the Church.

Martin looks after our Premises and Lettings. He is also Director of the Soup Kitchen and the CEO of the charity NextMeal, among other things!
